We’ll spend 15 minutes on a focused AI topic — practical stuff like automating repetitive tasks, using AI tools for donor communications, understanding what your data is actually doing, or evaluating new tools before you commit. Then we open it up for 45 minutes of open Q&A. Bring your questions, your confusion, and your half-baked ideas. There are no dumb questions here.

In this session we’ll show you how to turn a dense program or financial report into a crisp one-page board brief, draft a meeting agenda from a few bullet notes, and build a reusable template for committee reports. No technical background needed. Just bring your board packet headache.
7/17/26 Prompt Engineering for Busy Nonprofit Staff – If AI feels hit or miss, the problem usually isn’t the tool. It’s the prompt.
Most nonprofit staff get inconsistent results because their prompts are too vague. This session teaches two patterns that change everything: Role + Context + Task (the formula that makes AI sound like it knows your organization) and the Iteration Loop (how to turn a decent first draft into something you’d actually send). Come as a novice. Leave with a framework you’ll use every week.
7/24/26 AI for Program Impact Reporting – If your fiscal year just flipped on July 1, you’ve got survey data sitting in a spreadsheet and funders who want impact stories by fall. This session is for you.
We’ll take a messy data export, pull out the key themes with AI, and turn raw numbers into a compelling impact narrative. Then we’ll show you how to adapt that same content for three audiences at once: your board, a funder report, and your newsletter. Write once, adapt many. We’ll also cover a quick technique for turning open-ended survey responses into client testimonial frameworks.
