Assessment

We work with you to fully understand your business processes and discover the problems you are experiencing, in order to get a complete picture of your technology (people, processes, hardware and software).  This is typically the first service we provide to a new client.  Because we are also a nonprofit organization, fees for IT assessments are considerably lower compared to commercial rates. 

We analyze our findings to provide a prioritized list of recommendations for potential improvements. This includes the estimated times and materials cost of individual projects for your agency, which you can compare to other providers’ fees, if desired.  When you elect to work with IT4Causes, we’ll work with you to tailor the list to suit your budget, resources, and strategic plan. 

We typically work with our clients on annual contract basis using the “bucket of hours” approach, based on projects selected from the assessment.  Volunteer and intern hours are complimentary, with clients paying only for minimal consulting and project management time, as necessary, which results in a lower overall blended rate to nonprofits. 

Because we are a nonprofit organization, services fees for IT assessments from IT4Causes are considerably lower than other commercial rates. When conducting an evaluation, we work with you to fully understand your business processes to get a complete picture of your current technology (people, processes, hardware, and software) and the problems you are experiencing. We analyze our findings and provide you with a prioritized list of recommendations that may cause improvements.

Because technology and some solutions requires upkeep, IT4Causes can monitor and maintain your IT health to prevent lags in efficiency, security, or infrastructure. Through a partnership with Networking Technologies & Support (NTS), we are now able to offer 24×7 remote support resource at a special nonprofit rate. Clients who subscribe to the service can access dedicated support engineers through phone, email, or web.  Subscribers also receive monitoring and updates at no additional cost.  When issues arise, most are resolved on the first call.
