As a leader in technology for nonprofits, IT4Causes has been involved in the NTEN (Nonprofit Technology Network) organization since our inception, with monthly participation in the Tech Decision Makers forum and presenting at and attending the annual Nonprofit Technology Conference.
Our founder Tom Anderson is now also serving as a co-lead for the newly-formed Cybersecurity Online Community, which held its first monthly virtual meeting on Feb 4, and will continue to meet the first Weds of the month from 4-5 PM EST. We’d like to invite people who support cybersecurity initiatives at nonprofits large or small to participate. The monthly meeting will follow Chatham House rules, where attendees sign in and then add items to the agenda under the following categories:
- Successes
- Failures
- Pain Points
- Other topics
We then go down the list and let participants share their experiences in these categories and learn from each other in the process. Register for the event, and we hope to see you the first Wednesday of every or any month!
Also, IT4Causes will be live and in person at the 26NTC conference in Detroit from March 10-13, with at table in the main hall from 1 PM 3/10 to 6 PM 3/11. If you’re attending, stop by and pick up some swag! The conference also has a virtual attendance option if you’re unable to meet us in Michigan.
